Died in ,Natal, South Africa

  • George Whitfield Kinsman sailed to South Africa where he became one of the 1850 Byrne's settlers in Natal.  He worked for Native Affairs in Natal and was a Zulu translator.

George bought a farm and became post master in Weneen where he died on his farm.  His son, Farrar also worked for Native Affairs and took over as post master after his father's death.  It seems he had siblings:  Andrew Guyse, George Whitfield and Lawrence and sisters still to be researched further.  Either his son or brother, Andrew Guyse seemed to have been a Vet and also took over as post-master from his father.

Their descendants are still living in SA and the UK and my thanks go to Roger for the info he has given to this family line.
