Notes

  • From The Rashleigh/Kinsman Story (http://www.st-keverne.com/History/Family/Rashleigh-Kinsman.html)

William Kinsman (born 1799, Morwenstow) was one of three Bible Christian ministers named Kinsman. Richard Kinsman, born in Stratton, was active in the BC ministry between 1830 and 1860 and died at Stonehouse, Devon in 1881. Another William (this one) was born at Poundstock and was active in the ministry in the 1830s and 1840s and had two spells as minister of the Breage BC circuit.

William and his family emigrated to Canada sometime between 1850 (his daughter Ann's marriage was in Week St Mary then) and 1851 (none of the family were present on the 1851 England census).

Details of his descendants after then are taken from the tree published by bahodge in his Kinsman Family Tree (Perth Co., Ont.) at ancestry.com
