The form of the oath to be administered to Mrs Bridget Kingsman also Flower

Whereas Mr Phillip Kingsman clerk, rector of Leigh Delamere in the county of Wilts your father lately deceased, in his lifetime being of good and perfect mind and memory made a will which will is now [witnessed? contested? introduced?] by you and Mr Thomas Kinsman and Mrs Ann Kingsman also Edwards son and daughter of the said deceased in the Lord Bishop of Sarum?s court and as yet undetermined and whereas (as it was in open court alleged) there are certain goods, subject to spoyle and waste, and will certainly by reason of the approaching harvest, perish and be consumed, and so prevention thereof be speedily had and power and authority for collecting, borrowing and gathering up the same be granted, now this power being committed to you.

You shall swear that during the dependency and time of this facility you will well and truly administer all and singular the goods, chattels and or debts of the said deceased by paying his debts If any so far fourth as his goods chattels and credits will thereunto extend and the law shall charge you in that behalf and that you will exhibit a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the said goods and chattels and credits at or before the feast of Saint Michael the Archangel next and pass an account thereupon when you shall be thereunto lawfully called/ So help you God by the fear to all of this Book/ Kiss the Book
