  • The Richard who died in 1682 (married to Alice) may equally have been Richard born 1635. There are no records as yet to fully distinguish between these two cousins.

    One of these was a Quaker and had a son, John, and daughter, Amy (=John Harding) who all emigrated to America.

    The other had a son Richard who was apprenticed to the Distiller's company. It is unlikely that the Richard who was a Quaker would apprentice his son to be a Distiller.
