Will of Henry Kingman 1762

I Henry Kingman of Frome Selwood in the County of Somerset, Scribler, do hereby revoke and make void all and every Will, Wills, Testament and Testaments by me at any time or times heretofore made and do now make and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say

First I give and devise to my son Samuel Kingman and his heirs all those my Messuages, Tenements or Dwelling houses situate and standing in the City of Gloucester and also all that my Barn, Closes and Lands situate and lying in Birlip Hill in the parish of Badgeworth in the County of Gloucester all heretofore in the Tenure or occupation of my brother John Kingman his tenents or assigns, together with all malthouses, outhouses, buildings, courts, yards, backsides, gardens, orchards, ways, wavers, easements, common feedings, profits, commodities, hereditaments and appurtenances to the said Messuages Tenements or Dwelling houses, barns, closes and lands any or either of them belonging or appertaining and also all other messuages lands tenements and hereditaments whatsoever of which I have power to dispose or whereof I am seized of any estate either in possession, preversion, remainder or expectancy to have and to hold the same unto my said son Samuel Kingman his heirs and assigns for ever to the only use and behoof of him his heirs and assigns for evermore

Also I give and devise all and every Messuages, Lands and Tenements with their appurtenances of which I am possessed or entitled for any term or terms unto my said son Samuel his executors administrators and assigns for and during all the rest and remainder of the Terms Estates and Interests which shall be to come therein at my death

Also I give to my said son Samuel all my wearing apparel of all sorts

Also I give and bequeath unto my grandaughter Ann Paradice all and every my household goods and utensils of household whatsoever

Also I give and bequeath to my daughters Ann Huston and Martha Paradice all arrears of rent which may be due and owing for any of my Messuages Lands or tenements at the time of my death equally to be divided between them

And the rest and residue of my moneys, goods, chattels and estates and substance whatsoever or wheresoever I give and bequeath to my said daughters Ann and Martha equally to be divided between them share and part alike.

And I do make and appoint them my said daughters to be joint executrixes of this my last Will and Testament

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this third day of May in the year of Our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty two
