Will of Robert Kingman 1559

The 18th day of April in the Year of our Lord God 1559. I Robert Kyngman of Wishford in the county of Wiltshire, husbandman, sick in body but whole of mind and of perfect memory ordain and make my last will and testament in manner and form following.

First I bequeath my soul to Almighty God to the blessed Lady Saint Mary and to all the holy company of heaven

And my body to be buried in the churchyard of Wishford aforesaid.

Item, I give and bequeath to the cathedral church of Sarum 8 pence.

Item, to my parish Church 2 bz of wheat.

Item, I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary 10 sheep and a bullock.

Item, to my daughter Edith 10 sheep and a bullock.

And, to Alan Foet one acre of wheat and one acre of barley.

The residue of all my goods movables and unmovable not yet given nor bequeathed I give and bequeath to John and Thomas my sons whom I ordain and make mine executors of this my last will and testament.

Also I ordain and make John Kyngman and John Loe overseers of this my last Will and testament.
