Will of Alice Kinsman, widow of Carshalton. 1621

In the name of God Amen. 

The 7th day of January in the year of our lord God 1621, I Alice Kinsman widow of Carshalton in the County of Surrey being of whole mind and in good and perfect remembrance Laud and praise be unto Almighty God make and ordain this my present testament containing herein my last Will in manner and form following, that is to say:

First, I commend my soul unto Almighty God my maker and redeemer and my body to be buried in the Churchyard of Carshalton

Item, I give Willia Simons the son of Dorothy 5s to be paid him after 6 months

Item, I bequeath to my daughter Judith Phillips 6d

Item, I bequeath to my daughter Ales Weston 2s

Item, I bequeath to Dorothy Rodwell 1s

Item, all the rest of my goods, chattels and Laise (?lace?) and all my movables and unmovables together with my house wherein I now dwell in, which I hold of Mr John Huntly with the land and appurtenances I bequeath to my fourth daughter Johne Kinsman. And I make her my whole executrix to all my Goods whatever and of this my Last Will I make Nicholas Parker, yeoman, dwelling in the same parish, my overseer that these legacies may be truly fulfilled.

And to him for his pains I give 4s.
