Will of Mary [Dance] Kingman of Bognor. 1909


This is the last Will and Testament of me Mary Kingman of 10 Rock Gardens, Bognor, in the County of Sussex. 


Subject to the bequests hereinafter mentioned I hereby give and bequeath to my eldest surviving son James John Wills of 117 Shaftesbury Avenue, London WC, his heirs executors and administrators, for his and their own use and benefit, absolutely and forever, all my Estate both real and personal, whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature and quality soever. 


I give and bequeath to my grand daughter Mary Kingman, now residing at Sydney, New South Wales, one hundred pounds (£100) should she still be living at my deceases, should she predecease me I give the legacy to my said son James John Wills for his sole use and benefit.


I give and bequeath to Mrs Louisa Freemantle of 9 Rock Gardens, Bognor, the sum of fifty pounds (£50) in cash, to be paid at the end of 1 year from my decease (unless my executor should elect to pay it at an earlier date). 


I hereby appoint my said son James John Wills sole executor of this my Will. 


Lastly I revoke all former wills and codicils made by me at any time heretofore. 


In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 3rd day of May one thousand nine hundred and nine.

This is a codicil to the last Will and Testmament of me Mary Kingman of 10 Rock Gardens, Bognor, in the County of Sussex which bears the date the third of May one thousand nine hundred and nine. Whereas by my said Will I have given a legacy of fifty pounds (£50) in cash to Mrs Louisa Freemantle of 9 Rock Gardens, Bognor, now I hereby revoke the said legacy given in the said Will and in all other respects do confirm the said will.


In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 6th day of October one thousand nine hundred and nine.
