Will of Roger Kingman, Yeoman of Wishford. 1647

In the name of God Amen.

I Roger Kingman of Great Wishford yeoman being sick of body but in perfect sense and memory the 23rd day of November 1647 do here make my last will and testament.

First I do bequeath my soul unto God my maker and unto Jesus Christ my redeemer and my body to be buried in the church porch. 

Inprimus, I give to the church of Great Wishford 3s 4d. 

Item. I give unto the poor of parish 10s.

Item, I give unto Walter Kingman my eldest son £30.

Item, I give unto Roger Kingman and Robert Kingman my sons each of them £30 apiece.

Item, I give unto Ellinor Kingman my daughter £30. 

Item, I give unto Mary Kingman, Alice Kingman, Sarah Kingman each of them £30 apiece my daughters each of them to be timely paid.

Also, I make Mary Kingman my loving wife fully and solely my executrix of all my goods and chattels paying my debts unto every one in the world that I owe money to.

Item, I make Walter Kingman and Robert Kingman my loving brothers overseers of this my will and testament.

And all the children herein to be paid the money the **** to be paid [] 21 years of age and the maidens to be paid 22 years.
