Will of Jasper Kingsman of the Middle Temple. 1686

In the name of God Amen.

I, Jasper Kingsman, of the Middle Temple, London, Esq., do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) 

Inprimis, my will, mind and desire is that all such just debts as I shall justly owe unto any person or persons whatsoever at the time of my decease be well and truly paid by my Executor herein after named 

Also I give and devise all my Messuages, Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments whatsoever and wheresover with their and every of their appurtenances unto my dear father Mr Jasper Kingsman and to his heirs and assigns for ever 

Also I do give and bequeath unto my said dear father Mr Jasper Kingsman my Chamber in the Middle Temple aforesaid and my whole estate and interest thereon and all benefit thereof and all my books goods and household stuff whatsoever therein and all and singular my goods chattels and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever subject nevertheless to the payment of my said just debts which I humbly desire my said father to see paid 

Also I give unto my loving friend Mr Richard Baron Twenty shillings to buy him a ring 

And I do nominate and appoint my said dear father Mr Jasper Kingman sole executor of this my last will and Testament 

In witness whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament comprised on one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this four and twentieth day of June Anno Domini One thousand six hundred eighty six and in the second year of the reign of King James the second

Signed, sealed published and declared by the above named Testator to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us whose names are subscribed hereunto in the presence of the said Testator
