Will of Elizabeth Kingsman of St Botolph. 1717


In the name of God Amen


I Elizabeth Kingsman of the parish of St Botolph without Aldgate London, widow, being sick and weak in Body but of sound and perfect mind memory and understanding do make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say 


Inprimis, I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave and my Body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executors herein after named Item, as and for what worldly Estate God hath been pleased to bless me with my just debts and funeral charges being first paid and satisfied I give and dispose as follows (viz) 


I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Fisher, wife of Theodor Fisher of London, Limner, and my daughter Anne Sawtell, wife of Edmond Sawtell of London, Grocer, their heirs, executors and administrators all my Estate both real and personal, Goods, Chattells and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever to be equally divided between them share and share alike 


and I do hereby nominate and appoint my said two daughters Elizabeth and Anne Executrixes of the my Will hereby revoking and declaring null and void all former Wills and Testaments by me heretofore made and declaring this to be my last Will and Testament 


In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this nineteenth day of August in the fourth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King, Defender of the Faith and Anno Domini 1717. 


The mark of the above named Elizabeth Kingsman 


Sealed, signed, published and declared by the above named Elizabeth Kingsman the Testatrix to be her last will and Testament in the sight and presence of us who have hereunto set our names as witnesses in her sight and presence
