Made the 15th day of September in the 12th year of the reign of our sovereign Lord Charles by the grace of God King of England, Scotland France and Ireland, defender of the faith. Anno Domini 1636

In the name of God Amen.

I, John Kinsman of Kilkhampton in the county of Cornwall, Weaver, commend and commit my soul to Almighty God my maker and redeemer and my body to the Christian burial.

First; I give unto Charity my wife the house which I hold of Hipolita Bande, now by the name of Hipolita Peren, by a bond of a certain sum of money there set down and expressed upon the said bond and also the shop adjoining to the said house for and during the life of the said Hypolita and Henry Kinsman;

Item; I give unto my wife one Garden called by the name of the middle Garden belonging to the dwelling house during the lives aforesaid;

Item; I give unto my wife one Close called or known by the name of the East Park during the life of Hypolita and Henry: but the tenure to begin after the deaths of Thomas Kinsman and Jone Kinsman my father and mother.

Item; my will is that Charity my wife shall pay unto my son John Kinsman when he shall accomplish the years of twenty and of one the sum of sixteen shillings of good and lawful money of England if the said Close be then fallen unto her at that time or before.

Item; my will is that my wife shall pay into my daughter Wilmot when she shall accomplish the time of one and twenty years the inst sum of sixteen shillings of good and lawful money of England if the said Close be then fallen: my will is that my son and daughter shall have the foresaid sum and sums yearly, after they come to the age beforesaid if the Close be then fallen:

Item; my will is that if either of my said children shall happen to die that the other shall not, then the living shall have from my wife the sum of (25s) five and twenty shillings of like lawful money to be paid yearly.

Item; I give unto John my foresaid son one Weaving Trough. The residue of all my goods, my debts and legacies paid, I give unto Charity my wife and she I make my whole executrix.

In witness whereof I have hereunto put my Hand and Seal the 26th day of September and in the year below written
